Privacy Policy
Clad is a fashion marketplace with a built-in AI stylist. It is currently a prototype in private beta. This policy explains what the app processes and why.
What we process
- Outfit photos you upload, to recognise the pieces in your wardrobe.
- A selfie, to build your avatar, and the body and colour details you enter (for example hair and eye colour, skin tone, height).
- Your choices in the app, such as the looks you like or skip, and the avatar and try-on images generated for you.
- Usage analytics: events and session recordings that help us see how the app is used.
AI providers
To recognise your clothes and to generate your avatar, product pictures and try-ons, we send images to an AI provider, OpenAI. The app asks for your consent before images are sent. We do not sell your data.
Retention and deletion
- Original outfit photos are deleted right after recognition.
- The selfie is processed in memory and is not stored on our servers.
- Cut-outs of your pieces, product pictures and your avatar are deleted after 30 days. Try-on images are deleted once your avatar changes and in any case after 30 days.
- An inactive profile and its data are deleted after 30 days of inactivity. Deletion runs as a daily job, so it can be delayed if our service is down.
- You can delete your data at any time with "Delete my data" in the app, or by emailing info@iamclad.com.
- Some recognised attributes of a piece (such as category and colours) are kept until your profile is deleted.
- Analytics events and recordings already sent to our analytics provider are not removed by "Delete my data"; ask us by email and we will handle the request.
Analytics
We use PostHog for product analytics. Try-on images are masked in session recordings. The analytics provider may process technical data such as your IP address.
Your requests
To access, correct or delete your data, or to ask any question about this policy, contact info@iamclad.com.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. The date at the top shows the latest version.
